What Is Jesus Is Telling You To Do?

Have you ever wondered what Jesus is telling you to do, wondered what steps you need to take, wondered what doors you should walk through?

Let's take a look at a few Bible verses where Jesus is taking the guess work out of what he wants his followers to do.

After saying these things, Jesus headed straight up to Jerusalem. When he got near Bethphage and Bethany at the mountain called Olives, he sent off two of the disciples with instructions: "Go to the village across from you. As soon as you enter, you'll find a colt tethered, one that has never been ridden. Untie it and bring it. If anyone ask, 'What are you doing?' say, 'His Master needs him.' The two left and found it just as he said. As they were untying the colt, its owners said, 'What are you doing untying the colt?' They said, 'His Master needs him'." (Luke 19:28-31).

He said, "Keep your eyes open as you enter the city. A man carrying a water jug will meet you. Follow him home. Then speak with the owner of the house: The Teacher wants to know, 'Where is the guest room where I can eat the Passover meal with my disciples?' He will show you a spacious second-story room, swept and ready. Prepare the meal there." (Luke 22:10-12).

"Why are you so polite with me, always saying 'Yes, sir,' and 'That's right, sir,' but never doing a thing I tell you? These words I speak to you are not mere additions to your life, homeowner improvements to your standard of living. They are foundation words, words to build a life on." (Luke 6:46-47).

Are you listening when Jesus speaks directly to you? Has Jesus asked you to do something?

When Jesus died for us on the cross, He took all the wonder out of what we are supposed to do. You'll never go wrong doing what Jesus asks you to do. We have our plans, but He orders our steps.
