Born for Destiny!
My favorite and, in my opinion, one of the most profound quotes was given by Mark Twain, "The two most important days of your life was the day you were born and the day you found out why." As I travel throughout the US and other countries I run into Christians continuously who share that they don't know what they're called to do. Many of these believers have been in the church for years. My heart hurts for them. I've come to realize that many times Satan has a greater clue of why we were born and what we were created to do more than we do. Maybe not all the details, but he's in touch with it and does everything in his power to distract and divert us from fulfilling our destinies.
Ray and I have friends who had a beautiful baby girl, Ryman, and this is their story just three years ago. By all appearances Ryman was born beautiful and healthy. Just before Ryman's discharge from the hospital Brandy, her mom, noticed something not looking quite right with Ryman. She rang for the nurse. Just one look from the nurse brought alarm and they began to run tests on Ryman to find out what was wrong. The tests showed Ryman with CPS1. Medically known as Carbamoyl Phosphate Synthetase I Deficiency (CPSID), it is a rare inherited disorder which causes excess nitrogen in the blood overwhelmingly affecting the liver.
Ryman immediately had a blood transfusion, followed by medication and other treatments. But bottom line Ryman needed a liver transplant to keep her alive. Ryman had a liver transplant August 30. All seemed to be going well up until she was ready to be discharged from the hospital. Again, Ryman began to have problems and tests showed the new liver was failing. Ryman became critical and was put on the top of the list for another transplant. Prayer went forth throughout the world for Baby Ryman. On September 17th we received word that another liver had become available for Ryman and the transplant would take place that night. Intercessors began praying from heaven to earth.
We had a group at our home and we began standing in the gap for Baby Ryman and the surgery. At the close of our time of prayer, one of the women said she had received an impression from heaven that Ryman had a significant call on her life in the area of music. Just a handful of the people in the room knew the factor that Ryman's dad, Jeremy, is majorly involved in the music industry and travels around the world in his profession. This factor had not been mentioned at anytime prior or during our time of prayer for Ryman. We shared Jeremy's involvement over the years in the music industry with the entire group and they were so blessed by the reality that heaven had heard our prayers.
As a daughter of Father God, I believe, as with all of us, Ryman has a Kingdom Destiny upon her life to influence the nations for God's Glory. Satan had gotten wind of this and had attempted to snuff out Ryman's life on several occasions, just like he did with Jesus. Jesus was born a baby to reign on this earth. I can look back over the years of my life and see where the enemy has attempted to stop me from fulfilling my God-given Destiny. I am thankful I know when I was born and why I was born. I wake up everything morning excited about the assignment I've been given to complete on this earth. It is my heart-felt prayer that all of Father's beautiful children will know that as well.
